PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday suspended the execution
of a death-row i
nmate who was sentenced t
o death by a military court for involvement in terrorism.

ivision bench suspended the execution of Qasim Shah who was sentenced t
o death by a military court for involvement in an attack on a non-governmental organisation located in Mansehra, in which five people lost their lives. The relatives of the convict ha
d filed a review petition in the PHC, after which the execution was suspended.
It is worth mentioning here that the PHC had also suspended the execution of another death-row i
nmate Fazal Rabi on August 29, 2016.
