Punjab Police Inspector General Shoaib Dastgir on Tuesday said that instead of getting afraid, it is our solemn aim and mission to fight against the global pandemic, and added that the Pakistani nation will be successful in defeating coronavirus by following the precautionary
measures given by the health experts.
He moreover, said that Punjab Police has presented the
awareness message regarding fight against Corona virus in the form of a song so that the citizens may save themselves from Corona virus by adopting precautionary
measures. He further added that Punjab Police with the help of doctors and other departments of the government is engaged in reducing expansion of Corona virus and
protecting the citizens and with the mutual and cohesive efforts of all departments, Pakistani Nation will soon overcome this difficulty. He further said that in this time of difficulty, Punjab Police is not only ensuring implementation of directions issued by government with respect to lockdown but also contributing its share by compensating their difficulties through provision of ration to deserved families. These views were expresse
d by him while he was speaking at the eve of launching of public
awareness song with respect to Corona virus.
The song was recorded in the voice of singer Sultan Saqib Baloch in which precautionary
measures i.e repeating of hands washing, using face masks and hand sanitizers along with other preventive
measures recommended by experts have been highlighted beautifully whereas the services and efforts of doctors, police force, Pak Army, rescue and other many departments have also been paid homage for being on the front line who despite many dangers of their own lives, put their lives at stakes and
protected the precious lives of the citizens. The video of the song was filmed in the background of historical places of Lahore like Badshahi Mosque, Minar e Pakistan and other famous places. Likewise, the services of teams of traffic police, dolphin force, pak army offering duties on roads have also been included in the song. A tribute has also been given to brave doctor Usama Riaz who
died during the treatment of Corona affected patients in Gilgit-Baltistan.
