our people, including Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad Assistant Commissioner Riaz Miani, on Thursday. Police said that
armed men, wearing masks, abducted Riaz Miani along with three other officials when he was visiting his hometown of Kot Murtaza in Tank to offe
r Fateha for his
mother.
The police cordoned off the area soon after the incident and launched a search operation to nab the abductors, but they managed to escape. However,
the police were hopeful that the four abducted individuals would be rescue safely very soon.
