RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar
Javed Bajwa on Saturday visited the Headquarters of Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG).
The COAS laid a floral wreath at monument of the martyrs. General Bajwa lauded the efforts and contributions of SSG officers, especially during counter terrorism operatio
n throughout the country.
Major General Abid Rafique has been ap
pointed as the first colonel commandan
t of SSG by the COAS.
General Bajwa appraised that SSG is one of the best special force of the world and this force has proved it with
their sacrifices and blood.
