Paramedics protest against not getting ‘hardship allowance’

MITHI: After the deaths of minor children due to the malnutrition following the prolonged drought, two years ago the Sindh government announced to give hardship allowance to the doctors and paramedics, but promised is not fulfilled yet. The paramedic staffs in in Mithi after boycott their duties and staged protest demonstrations at civil hospital Mithi and also outside the Thar Press Club Mithi in favour of their demands here on Tuesday. Mithu Soomro, Ms. Fouzia, Rajab ali Kumbhar, Barkat Ali Hingorjo and other leaders of the protesting medics talking to the local correspondents criticized that doctors were being given the hardship allowance recently announced by Sindh government but they had been deprived of such package. They told that paramedics had to perform their duties in more difficult and harsh conditions than the doctors but Sindh government totally neglected them. They warned to enlarge the scope of their protests if their genuine demands were not met.
