KARACHI: The Al-Khidmat Foundation provided interest free loans of Rs 2.7 million amongst 86 artisans and s
killed people, including 10 women, in eight districts of Sindh.

ld in Ghotki, Tharparkar, Kashmore-Kandhkot, Thatta and other districts to hand over loan cheques amongst the relev
ant people.
An Al-Khidmat Foundation official said they had so far extended Rs 35.2 million in interest-free loans in the province. He said the recovery ratio of these loans was very encouraging. He added that these interest-free loa
ns were helpin
g skilled people and artisans maximise their earning capacities; directly assisting low-income families and indirectly helping in poverty mitigation.
He appealed to philanthropists to extend a helping hand to the Al-Khidmat Foundation so that even more people could benefit under the interest-free loan scheme.
