KHYBER AGENCY: President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Agency served a show cause notice to local PTI workers who participated in an
anti-merging rally, contrary to their party stance, organized by Jamiat Ullema-e-Islam,Fazal Rehman (JUI-F) Landi Kotal chapter yesterday.
In a press release, issued to the media on Friday, the PTI leader, Iqbal Afridi asked the workers allegedly i
nvolved in non-disciplinary act to reply with their answers in written regarding the previous day’s incident.
A six member inquiry committee, comprising of senior PTI workers was also set up to investigate the incident’s impartially an
d suggested legal action against those found guilty of v
iolating party policy.
It is worth mention here that yesterday a number of local PTI workers joined the JUI-F rally
held in Landi Kotal against merging of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
